• In the latest revelation in the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal, it was revealed that former Saints defensive end Anthony Hargrove told the NFL he was instructed to deny the existence of a bounty program by Saints assistants Gregg Williams and Joe Vitt in 2010 -- a charge that Vitt denied.

•Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma filed a letter stating his intent to appeal his season-long suspension Monday, while the three other players suspended in the Saints bounty scandal jointly filed a "reservation of rights" letter to appeal with the NFL.

• Terrell Owens, who reportedly made $80 million in the NFL but now claims to have little money left, will face off with three of the mothers of his children on "Dr. Phil" on Tuesday.

•Denver Broncos general manager Brian Xanders, who survived the ouster of Mike Shanahan and Josh McDaniels, will be leaving his post as the team continues its front-office restructuring under John Elway.

• After watching the Dallas Cowboys practice, NFL.com personnel guru Gil Brandt thinks this year's draft could turn the team around heading into 2013.
