Military moms enjoy Heads Up Football clinic sponsored by NFL

Thursday's Heads Up Football news:

The U.S. Army reported on last week's Heads Up Football clinic for moms in Kansas City with dozens of mothers from nearby Fort Riley, Fort Leavenworth and Whitman Air Force Base participating in the event hosted by the NFL and the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Smithville Herald looked at Smithville football coach Greg Smith, who helped to lead the Heads Up Football clinic in Kansas City.

USA Football featured national football team member Brett Kokesh, who spends his free time helping Redlands, Calif., area veterans.

Former Washington Redskins linebacker LaVar Arrington, who is a Heads Up Football ambassador, this week urged kids through NFL.com and USA Football to play football the right way.
