Pittsburgh almost seemed afraid to let Vick drop back and pass too much during the team's crushing 23-20 loss to Baltimore. He completed 19 of 26 passes, but the completions only gained 124 yards for a 4.4 average.
"That last pass is going to haunt me for a long time," Vick said.
Vick had Antonio Brown open and airmailed him. It was as if the veteran knew what a big play it was for his career, and it showed. We saw some analysts after the game question why Vick, a left-hander, was making a more difficult pass to his right. But Vick certainly wasn't thinking about the play call after the game. He knew he had a receiver open and he did not deliver what should have been a routine play.
The Steelers had their bitter rivals down and out, staring at 0-4 multiple times -- and they let them off the hook.
"One of the toughest losses of my career," Vick said.
