Miami Dolphins set up interviews with GM candidates

The Miami Dolphins search for a new general manager has commenced.

After the Dolphinsmutually parted ways with Jeff Ireland on Tuesday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Dolphinswill interviewCleveland Browns assistant GM Ray Farmer, per a source with knowledge of the search.

In other general manager news:

»The Dolphins and Buccaneers have requested to speak with the Titans vice president of football operations Lake Dawson for their open GM position, per Rapoport.

»The Bucs requested to interview Chiefs director of player personnel Chris Ballard for their GM position, but he decided to stay with Kansas City, Rapoport added.

»The Bucs will interview Redskins pro personnel director Morocco Brown for their open GM position Friday, per a source informed of Tampa's plans.

» According to Rapoport, the Dolphins will interview Omar Khan and Jason Licht of the Steelers and Cardinals, respectively.
