McDaniels: Broncos WR Thomas should play vs. Seahawks

Broncos rookie wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, who's recovering from a foot injury, appears ready to play in this weekend's home opener against the Seattle Seahawks, *The Denver Post* reported Friday.

Thomas, one of the Broncos' two first-round draft picks along with quarterback Tim Tebow, practiced all week.

Thomas was a game-day inactive in the Broncos' season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

"I think he's had two good days of practice. As long as everything goes the way we hope it goes today, I think he'll be ready to roll," Broncos coach Josh McDaniels told The Post on Friday. "We look forward to him playing on Sunday."

Thomas injured his left foot in August and missed all four of the Broncos' preseason games.

If Thomas plays, wide receiver Matt Willis could be left off the Broncos' active game-day roster.
