McCoy listed as questionable; Reid expects Eagles RB to play

Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy fully practiced Friday for the first time this week and is listed as questionable for this weekend's season finale against the Washington Redskins.

McCoy, who's gearing up for a shot at the NFL rushing title, is expected to play despite his ankle injury, Eagles coach Andy Reidtold The Philadelphia Inquirer. McCoy missed practice Wednesday and was limited Thursday.

McCoy has 1,309 rushing yards, 128 behind Jacksonville Jaguars running back and current league leader Maurice Jones-Drew (1,437), who missed two days of practice with an ankle injury but is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. McCoy leads the league with 17 rushing touchdowns.

McCoy and members of the Eagles' staff have indicated that the running back will see plenty of action Sunday in an attempt to help him catch Jones-Drew.

Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel has been ruled out for the season finale. Samuel, who's dealing with a hamstring injury, missed last Saturday's game against the Dallas Cowboys and didn't practice this week.
