Mark Sanchez eats cheesesteaks after Eagles win

The Sanchize is back, baby!

Mark Sanchez made his first start for the Philadelphia Eagleson Monday night. The formerly maligned New York Jets quarterback started his first game since 2012 and completed 20 of 37 passes for 332 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions.

Sanchez's play led to countless posts on the far reaches of the vast wilderness termed the "Internet," praising the signal-caller for overcoming his demons.

After the performance, Sanchez made good on his pre-game promise that if the Eagles won he'd have his first Philly Cheesesteak.

The quarterback ended up having two.

WPVI-TV in Philly caught Sanchez in South Philadelphia, where he reportedly had one of the local delicacies from each of two legendary shops, Geno's and Pat's.

Some, um, diehard(?) fans waited for the quarterback to show up. One then decided to bombard Sanchez with some fries while the quarterback got out of his car.

"I want you to have my cheese fries," said the fan. "Thanks, brother," Sanchez replied.

(What a much more mature and responsible way to spend a Monday night, right? Right, New York?)

At the moment, no one in Philly is flying higher than Sanchez.

Now someone call the NFL Media office and demand the Sanchini gets back on the office menu.
