Many high school football teams are giving helmet sensors a try

Sensors built for football helmets to detect concussions have been making news recently as some high schools utilize them while others reject the technology.

The Wilmington (Delaware) News-Journal reported on the latest Riddell helmet, which includes helmet-impact sensors, talking to trainer Marty Yuhas.

The Beaumont (Texas) Enterprise reported how Port Neches-Groves High School is using the same Riddell helmets and technology.

However, Leesburg (Virginia) Today reported that the Loudon School District turned down the opportunity to use helmet sensors for its high school football team.
