Lions game not just an appetizer this Thanksgiving

Why to watch
Matthew Stafford comes in off a five-touchdown performance vs. the Panthers. The Lions have legit playoff hopes and the Packers are getting a legendary season from Aaron Rodgers and are flirting with perfection. The Lions can be tricky on Thanksgiving Day. The crowd at Ford Field should be nuts.

Inside story
Packers left tackle Chad Clifton has been out and the Packers have been vulnerable along the offensive line. The Lions have a great pass rush, and while they suffer against the run, Green Bay could be without James Starks. The Packers have allowed 46 passes of 20 yards or more -- second-most in the NFL -- and seven touchdowns of that length, also second-most. Thirty-three percent of Detroit's completions go for 20 or more yards -- fourth-most in the NFL -- and the Lions have nine touchdown passes of 20 yards or more, third-most in the NFL.
