On Tuesday, the veteran wide receiver was asked at Cardinals OTAs if his 13th season could be his last.
"Honestly, I have no idea," Fitzgerald said, via the Cardinals' team site. "I really don't look at it like that."
From a production standpoint, Fitzgerald has no reason to shut it down now. The 32-year-old veteran found the fountain of youth in 2015, finishing with 109 receptions for 1,215 yards and nine touchdowns. Fitzgerald offered a reminder of his greatness in the postseason, authoring a performance for the ages in a divisional-round win over the Packers.
"A lot of it's tied to Carson (Palmer) -- Carson's playing at a high level," he said. "I don't want to go through any other quarterback situations. It's been great to have the stability that we have now with the big fella, he's been playing lights out."
A title is the only thing missing from an otherwise flawless resume.
