Larry Fitzgerald a game-day decision for Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians conceded that Larry Fitzgerald was "iffy" for Sunday's NFC West clash with the Seattle Seahawks after missing practice earlier in the week.

Arians updated Fitzgerald's status on Friday, telling reporters that his star receiver will be a game-day decision this week.

Nursing a Grade 2 MCL sprain, Fitzgerald worked off to the side on Friday, missing his third consecutive practice, per Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official website.

The timing of the injury couldn't be worse for Fitzgerald, who has been playing at a higher level than any time since the 2011 season.

Even if the All-Pro suits up on Sunday, he will have trouble separating from coverage and making plays against a reinforced Seahawks secondary that saw the returns of cornerback Byron Maxwell and safety Kam Chancellor last week.

Cardinals fans looking on the bright side will note that their own team's secondary has overtaken the "Legion of Boom" as the NFL's best this season.
