When you're the defending Super Bowl champions, you deserve the right to have a little fun during the offseason. And that's exactly what Julian Edelman and the New England Patriots are doing.
The Patriots wide receiver -- perhaps influenced by our own movie trailers -- released his own version of a Star Wars trailer starring none other than Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and himself. The ending is particularly moving.
Edelman's ad inspires the question: What Star Wars characters would Edelman's cohorts be?
Good thing NFL Media's Adam Rank had the foresight to answer these questions beforehand -- with a special-guest appearance by Gisele Bundchen as Padme Amidala.
Star Wars: Episode VII is set to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
