Joe Gibbs returns to coaching by leading his grandkids' team

And you thought Hall of Fame coach Joe Gibbs was happy just running a Sprint Cup team on the NASCAR racing circuit. It turns out he has the itch to coach again -- but not in the NFL.

Yahoo!Sports caught up with former Washington Redskins coach, who is directing his grandkids' youth football in North Carolina.

The youth football team he is coaching is, of course, named the Redskins.

Gibbs' coaching doesn't end during the week. He coaches the team during the Saturday games, then hops on a plane with his sons to the next NASCAR race.

Already, Gibbs has discovered some parts of youth football he never saw in the NFL.
