Jim Irsay: Colts' coach, GM 'clicking on all cylinders'

After his last general manager didn't get along with coach Chuck Pagano, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay wants everyone to know everything is hunky-dory to start this offseason.

Irsay tweeted Sunday that GM Chris Ballard and Pagano are "clicking on all cylinders." The owner also added that Andrew Luck is "healing" and believes there are "great things to come!!"

The relationship between Pagano and ex-Colts GM Ryan Grigson was rocky, with each sniping at the other through the media. After years of failed draft picks and offseason additions, Irsay fired Grigson this offseason.

Ballard takes over a team with a franchise quarterback and little else to build around. He already began cutting the veteran fat, releasing linebacker D'Qwell Jackson earlier this month.

With the NFL Scouting Combine beginning next week, then free agency and the draft, Ballard's remake of the roster will ramp up. Irsay hopes those "cylinders" between the coach and GM keep clicking throughout the process.
