Jets' Revis calls Pats' Belichick a 'jerk' on ESPN

NEW YORK (AP) - New York Jets All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis called New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick a "jerk" during an appearance on ESPN.

Revis was playing a word association game on "SportsCenter" on Wednesday with Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski when the Jets star was asked to say what he thinks when he hears Bill Belichick's name.

"Jerk," Revis said, before explaining, "Just some of the comments he says about the Jets."

Gronkowski said he "wasn't expecting that one." The Patriots star then answered "entertainer" when he was asked what he thinks of when he hears Rex Ryan's name.

They were both asked about new Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow, and Revis said "a competitor," while Gronkowski said: "Starting quarterback for the Jets." Revis laughed and said, "That's a good one."
