Jets' Mangold, Taylor questionable, expected to face Dolphins

New York Jets center Nick Mangold and linebacker Jason Taylor are listed as questionable with injuries, but are expected to play at Miami on Sunday night, Jets coach Rex Ryan told reporters on Friday.

Mangold practiced for the first time this week Friday on a limited basis after spraining his right shoulder in the 28-14 win against New England last Sunday. He says he'd "have to be dead" to not play.

Taylor injured his left elbow in the same game. He departed briefly in the second half, but returned. He then re-injured the elbow after sacking Tom Brady on the Patriots' final offensive play.

The game will be Taylor's first against the Dolphins after 12 seasons with them. The NFL's active sack leader wanted to finish his career in Miami, but reluctantly signed a two-year deal with the Dolphins' archrivals when no contract offer came from the Dolphins last offseason.

Ryan said that tackle Wayne Hunter, nursing a shin injury, is out this Sunday and will not travel with the team.

*The Star-Ledger* reported that cornerback Darrelle Revis (hamstring) and linebacker Calvin Pace (foot) rode stationary bikes on Friday. Both are out for Sunday's game.

The Dolphins announced that defensive end Jared Odrick is out with an ankle injury, guard John Jerry is doubtful with an unspecified illness and linebacker Channing Crowder (groin) is questionable.
