DeSean Jackson sealing the Philadelphia Eagles' miracle comeback is the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week for games played on Dec. 16-20, the NFL announced Friday. The GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week is the best moment or play of the week that represents determination and perseverance.
After trailing the New York Giants 31-10 with 7:28 remaining, the Eagles fought back and tied the game, which seemed destined for overtime. But Jackson would have none of it. Hobbled by a foot injury all week, Jackson returned a punt 65 yards for a touchdown on the final play of the game, giving the Eagles an improbable victory.
Jackson's play was selected from among three moments by voters on NFL.com/gmc. The other two moments were New England Patriots guard Dan Connolly returns momentum to the Patriots and Detroit Lions running back Maurice Morris comes up big to end his team's road skid.
After the regular season, fans will have a chance to determine the GMC Never Say Never Moment Of The Year from among the 17 weekly winners. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/gmc throughout the month of January.

In need of a spark after falling behind by 10 points, the Patriots received one from 313-pound guard Dan Connolly. With just over two minutes to play in the first half, the practice-squad regular cradled a squib kick and motored 71 yards for the longest kickoff return by an offensive lineman in NFL history. Three plays later, the Patriots scored to take momentum into halftime.
Morris comes up big to end
Lions' road skid
Without a victory on the road in more than three years, the Lions can now exhale. Maurice Morris rushed for 35 of his 109 yards on Detroit's opening drive of overtime to help set up Dave Rayner's winning field goal, giving the Lions a victory over playoff-contending Tampa Bay and ending their NFL-record for consecutive road losses at 26.
