Injuries: Packers' Cobb suffers bruised lung in loss

The Green Bay Packers lost yet another wide receiver.

Randall Cobb left the field on a cart during the second quarter of Saturday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He did not return due a chest injury. However NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport later added that Cobb suffered a bruised lung on the play.

Cobb was injured while making a beautiful one-handed catch on a deep pass by Aaron Rodgers. Penalties by both teams negated the reception. Cobb walked back to the sideline under his own power, but then was seen gagging and coughing before he was transported to the locker room.

The Packers were already playing without Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams, who suffered a knee injury in Green Bay's Wild Card win over the Redskins. With Cobb sidelined, Rodgers was left to throw to a decimated receiver corps that included James Jones, Jared Abbrederis, Jeff Janis and a gas station attendant the team picked up outside Tucson.

Safety Micah Hyde injured his hip in the second quarter and did not return.
