Houston Texans' Rick Smith leads kids in Heads Up Football clinic

Many NFL teams have spent time during training camp working with youth football players to introduce the Heads Up Football program.

The Houston Texans' clinic took on extra meaning for general manager Rick Smith, HoustonTexans.com reported.

The program is very important to Smith. He was a proponent of the NFL's new crown-of-the-helmet rule when it was passed this spring and talked in March about how his son's football-related concussion has affected him.
