Holmes invites Sanchez, other Jets to work out in Fla.

New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes, who famously feuded with quarterback Mark Sanchez last season, is reportedly spending this week working out with Sanchez and other teammates in Orlando, Fla.

Debate: Burgeoning QB controversies

Which starting quarterback will enter the 2012 campaign with the shortest leash? A couple analysts point to Mark Sanchez. **More ...**

Holmes' trainer, Tom Shaw told the Star-Ledger on Tuesday that the receiver personally invited Sanchez, tight end Dustin Keller and receiver Patrick Turner to Florida, where Holmes spends his offseasons.

"Mark was in charge, everyone was listening to his instructions," Shaw said. "Guys from other teams, too. (Titans running back) Chris Johnson, Larry Taylor, who used to be with the Jets. Once we finished the workout for the day, Sanchez took over. He was in charge of the whole offensive part."

Sanchez and Holmes reportedly made peace with each other last month when the two met for dinner.

"I know for a fact Santonio Holmes and Mark Sanchez are close," Shaw said on Tuesday.

The Jets begin offseason team workouts Monday.
