Hall of Fame QB Jim Kelly gets cancer support from social media

Wednesday's health and safety news from the world of football:

  • Fox Sports reported on the overwhelming support on social media for Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly. The term #PrayersforJK was the No. 1 trending hashtag on Twitter much of Wednesday, according to ESPN Radio.
  • USA Today reported that freshman running back Will McKamey, who collapsed during a football practice Saturday, died while in a coma Tuesday at Baltimore Shock Trauma.
  • WXIN-TV in Indianapolis reported that some coaches said the new Indiana law that requires high school football coaches to undergo concussion training did not go far enough.
