Gruden joins NFL Network as part of combine coverage

One of premier coaches in the NFL, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Jon Gruden joins NFL Network as an analyst for the 2009 NFL Scouting Combine.

Gruden will make his debut on NFL Network's NFL Total Access at the 2009 Scouting Combine Presented by Under Armour on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. ET and contribute analysis through Monday, Feb. 23.

"Coach Gruden is one of the most knowledgeable and entertaining people in the NFL and we are fortunate that he will be joining our team of analysts at the Combine," NFL Network executive producer Eric Weinberger said. "With the addition of Coach Gruden we continue to grow our coverage to give fans the most comprehensive preview of the 2009 NFL Draft."

Gruden spent the past seven seasons as the coach of the Buccaneers leading the franchise to its first Vince Lombardi Trophy with a win over Oakland in Super Bowl XXXVII. Gruden is the second-youngest coach to win the Super Bowl (Mike Tomlin, Pittsburgh). He led the Bucs to three division championships and combined with his previous head-coaching experience with the Oakland Raiders, Gruden's teams have won five division titles.
