Giants WR Nicks will be game-time decision against 49ers

New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks returned to practice this week, but will be a game-time decision for Sunday's crucial NFC showdown against the San Francisco 49ers.

Nicks is dealing with a hamstring injury he first suffered in Week 9 that forced him to sit out last week's win over the New England Patriots. Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Nicks would be listed as questionable.

Also questionable is wide receiver Mario Manningham, who was added to the Giants' injury report Saturday with a knee injury. It's unknown when Manningham, who didn't miss any practice time during the week, was injured.

As expected, Coughlin also told reporters on Friday that running back Ahmad Bradshaw has been officially ruled out against the 49ers because of a stress fracture in his foot. Coughlin said surgery is not currently an option for Bradshaw, who will miss his second straight game. Bradshaw and wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan (hip), who was also ruled out, did not travel with the team.

Along with Nicks and Manningham, cornerback Prince Amukamara (foot), offensive tackle Stacy Andrews (back) and center David Baas (knee) are also listed as questionable.

The 49ers listed starting defensive end Ray McDonald (hamstring) as questionable and 10 players as probable.
