Gailey: Bills' McGee probably done for season with knee injury

The Buffalo Bills had a frustrating and disappointing Sunday afternoon in Miami, and it wasn't limited to their 35-8 loss to the Dolphins.

The Bills got beat up on the injury front, too.

Bills coach Chan Gailey said following the loss that cornerback Terrence McGee is probably out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. Running back Fred Jackson sat out much of the second half with a right calf injury, while wide receiver Donald Jones was also carted off the field during the second quarter with a left ankle injury.

Gailey said the X-rays on Jackson, the NFL's rushing leader, came back negative.

"He got banged up, I don't know the extent of things," Gailey said. "Same calf that was bothering him."

Jackson, however, told reporters after the game he would be fine.

McGee was carted off the field late during the second quarter after he got tangled up with Dolphins wide receiver Davone Bess on a short touchdown reception. McGee immediately clutched his right knee and had his leg immobilized before he was taken off the field.

"McGee is not good," Gailey said. "He's probably done."

Bills wide receiver Donald Jones didn't return after leaving with the ankle injury. Gailey confirmed Jones injured the same ankle that caused him to miss two games this season, calling it "another bad sprain." He didn't offer a timetable for a possible return by Jones.
