Fullback Ovie Mughelli to visit with Miami Dolphins

Free-agent fullback Ovie Mughelli will visit the Miami Dolphins, a source with knowledge of the situation told NFL Network on Wednesday.

The nine-year veteran will arrive in South Florida on Wednesday night and visit with the Dolphins on Thursday.

Mughelli, 31, was released by the Atlanta Falcons last week after five seasons. He signed a six-year, $18 million deal with Atlanta in 2007, the richest ever at the time for a fullback.

Mughelli's most productive season was 2006 with the Baltimore Ravens, rushing 12 times for 50 yards and catching 21 passes for 182 yards and two touchdowns.
