The dinner and silent auction is set for June 28, followed by the golf tournament June 29 at the Vanderbilt Legends Club. More than 30 celebrities will be taking part, including Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler and Titans quarterback Rusty Smith.

Funds will go to the Heimerdinger Foundation, started by his family to honor the coach and raise awareness of cancer treatment options and healthier lifestyles.

Heimerdinger was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer November 2010 while working as the Titans' offensive coordinator. He died in September 2011.
