DENVER -- As the Broncos continue their quest toward improving a passing game that's not going to cut it in the playoffs, some of quarterback Tim Tebow's more ardent supporters have wondered recently whether the play calls have fit his skill set.
"We do call short passes," Fox said. "They just didn't go so well.
Fox called long ones, too. They didn't go so well, either.
During Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, Tebow completed 6 of 22 passes for 60 yards. In the fourth quarter, he completed 2 of 8 passes for 17 yards with an interception on his last play of the game.
Another reporter asked if the inability to get any sort of aerial attack going falls on the quarterback, which prompted Fox to slowly and deliberately say, "There's a lot of moving parts to the passing game."
Fox was asked if he would consider an in-game change at quarterback against the Steelers if the passing game continued to struggle.
"I don't do well with hypotheticals," Fox said. "I anticipate we'll play very well on Sunday."
