Former Steelers CB Gay agrees to terms with Cardinals

William Gay's message was cryptic, but the free-agent cornerback disclosed on Twitter that he's joining the Arizona Cardinals.

At the end of a tweet about his plans for Sunday, Gay wrote: ".... O yeah by the way I'm #Birdgang now west coast."

The team later confirmed in a release it had agreed to terms on a two-year deal with Gay.

Gay started 15 games for the Pittsburgh Steelers last season and recorded 61 tackles and two interceptions.

Earlier in free agency, the Cardinals lost cornerback Richard Marshall to the Miami Dolphins.
