Former Jaguars WR Ace Sanders suspended 10 games

Former Jaguars wide receiver Ace Sanders was suspended 10 games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy on Monday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports.

Sanders was released by the Jaguars in mid-July.

Sanders was drafted in the fourth round in 2013, and was expected to be a gadget player in Jacksonville. At 5 feet 7 and 176 pounds, he never caught on as a difference-making returner and had trouble finding snaps in the Jaguars' young receiver group.

The third-year wideout was also suspended four games to open the 2014 season for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
