Former Browns FB Ali signs one-year contract with Cardinals

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals announced Friday that they have signed fullback Charles Ali to a one-year contract.

Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

The Cleveland Browns signed Ali as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas-Pine Bluff in 2007, and he appeared in 29 games over the next two seasons.

Ali played for the New York Sentinels of the UFL in 2009 before signing with the Baltimore Ravens last Nov. 24. He was inactive for two games before being released. The Ravens re-signed Ali at the end of last season but released him April 28.
