The Broncos scored seven minutes later and, in an admirable move, Toussaint took the loss squarely on his shoulders during post-game interviews.
Now, he's ready to forget it ever happened.
"That (fumble) doesn't define me as a player nor does it define me as a person," Toussaint said, via TribLive.com. "It was difficult situation, but not just for me but for the team because I know how hard they worked before I even got here. I am working to put myself in that position never to do that again."
People will forget that Toussaint was clutch in his relief appearances throughout the playoffs to that point -- he logged 118 total yards against the Bengals in the Wild Card game and scored a touchdown early against the Broncos -- and with Le'Veon Bell's health always an uncertainty it may be worth remembering.
