Final playoff push begins in Total Access fantasy league

It's the final month of the fantasy football regular season, meaning it's time for teams in the NFL Total Access fantasy league to step their games up. For some teams on the playoff bubble, this could be their last chance to make a statement.

Charles picked the wrong time for a three-game losing streak, especially with the formidable Team Hebrew on tap. The good news is that the byes are on a one-week hiatus, so he can put his strongest possible lineup forward. But facing the likes of Cam Newton and Adrian Peterson won't make it easy.

Predicted outcome: Team Hebrew gets back in the win column as Charles' misery continues.

McGinest is on the outside of the playoffs, but with so many teams bunched up, a win could go a long way toward putting him back in the mix. One problem: McGinest is rolling with Chris Ogbonnaya and just like the Browns, his running back situation is a mess. Baldinger currently holds the final playoff spot, so he needs a win to keep his hold on a ticket to the postseason.

Predicted outcome: Baldinger keeps the sixth and final playoff spot with a close win.

Both teams are playing for pride with their playoff hopes a distant memory. It still is a mystery how Burmeister sits at 2-7, but big weeks from Greg Jennings and Steve Smith could net him his third win. For the Kats, it will be all about the Texans running game if they are to have any success.

Predicted outcome: Burmeister has more weapons and comes out firing for a win.

With both teams solidly in the playoffs, this one won't have as much urgency as it should. But it could still be the best matchup of the week. Keep an eye on both teams' running games -- the side that has the bigger day could ultimately pull out the win.

Predicted outcome: With more strength at WR, Henne pulls out the win.

One of the league's worst teams against one of its best. This one will probably go exactly the way you would imagine. It will take herculean efforts from Michael Vick and Frank Gore for the Lions to keep up with all of YoFace's firepower.

Predicted outcome: Records do mean something. And YoFace's mark will improve after a big win.

Team Auto Draft's up-and-down season has them in a playoff spot, but not by much. The bad news is that Auto Draft's receivers are suspect. The worse news is the team begins Sunday in a big hole after Michael Bush's huge game on Thursday night. Aaron Rodgers will have to be a super-duper star to bring them back for a necessary win.

Predicted outcome: The Show gets an encore, this time in an upset role.
