Falcons add new limited partner

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) - The Atlanta Falcons have added a new limited partner, though Arthur Blank continues to hold more than 90 percent ownership of the team.

Brian J. Barker is owner of AFS, a domestic freight forwarding company headquartered in Shreveport, La. He lives in Park City, Utah, but says he couldn't pass up the chance to become involved with the NFL.

Barker joins a group of limited partners who invested in the Falcons between 2002 and 2010 under Blank's ownership, including former NFL running back Warrick Dunn.

The Falcons have four straight winning seasons, making the playoffs three times during that span. But Blank is promising changes after a dismal 24-2 postseason loss to the New York Giants.
