Falcons add Boudreau as offensive line coach

ATLANTA -- New Atlanta Falcons coach Mike Smith continued to shape his coaching staff on Thursday, adding Paul Boudreau as offensive line coach.

Boudreau has 21 years of NFL coaching experience, most recently as offensive line coach for the St. Louis Rams the last two years. In 2006, the Rams line helped running back Steven Jackson rush for more than 1,500 yards and quarterback Marc Bulger throw for more than 4,000 yards.

Boudreau coached Jacksonville's line from 2003-05 and previously was offensive line coach at Carolina, Miami, New England, Detroit and New Orleans.

Boudreau's hire came one day after Smith added former Tulane coach Chris Scelfo as tight ends coach and Paul Dunn as assistant offensive line coach.
