Eagles take OT Brandon Washington in 6th round

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The Philadelphia Eagles have selected Miami offensive tackle Brandon Washington with the 200th overall pick in the NFL draft.

Washington was chosen with Philadelphia's second pick in the sixth round. The 6-foot-4, 325-pound Washington started 25 games at Miami and projects as a guard in the NFL.

Scouting reports say Washington is a versatile lineman with size and strength and the ability to drive defenders off him. Washington is the second lineman the Eagles drafted on Saturday. They previously took Purdue's Dennis Kelly in the fifth round.
