Eagles LT Peters, DE Abiamiri, LB Gaither injured vs. Raiders

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Left tackle Jason Peters is among three Philadelphia Eagles players scheduled for MRI exams Monday after they were injured during Sunday's 13-9 loss to the Oakland Raiders.

Peters hurt his left knee midway through the first quarter and didn't return. Eagles coach Andy Reid called Peters' injury a sprained knee, but it was believed to be worse. Defensive end Victor Abiamiri sprained a knee late in the game, and linebacker Omar Gaither sprained a foot, Reid said.

Losing Peters was a big blow -- and quarterback Donovan McNabb was sacked six times without the left tackle protecting his blind side.

Peters limped to the sideline with assistance at the 7:20 mark after he blocked Raiders defensive tackle Tommy Kelly and another player rolled up his leg. Peters was taken to the locker room for observation on his left knee and was replaced by King Dunlap.

X-rays on Peters' knee were negative.
