DT Ellis returns for Saints; TE Shockey, LB Shanle inactive vs. Bucs

NEW ORLEANS -- The Saints deactivated tight end Jeremy Shockey and starting linebacker Scott Shanle for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Saints defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis is back in the lineup after missing last weekend's game against the Dallas Cowboys with a sore left knee.

Shanle missed practice the past week because of a concussion that occurred during the Saints' loss to the Cowboys. Shockey also missed last week's game with an injured toe.

New Orleans also scratched wide receiver Lance Moore, who has a sore right ankle; Randall Gay, who also had a concussion last week but since returned to practice; and Jabari Greer, who returned to practice in the past week from sports hernia surgery.

Tampa Bay didn't scratch any starters.
