Drug testing talks would change restrictions on Adderall

Beyond human growth hormone, the most talked about drug in NFL circles last season was Adderall. In the last 20 months, more than a dozen players have been suspended for using Adderall or Ritalin, which are regularly prescribed for attention deficit disorder.

The latest agreement on performance enhancing drugs will ease restrictions on drugs like Adderall, USA Today reported.

According to The Star-Ledger (Newark, N.J.), players use the drug during training camp to help them study their massive playbook. Some reports also say Adderall helps to mask other drugs.

The USA Today report also listed the other concessions made by the NFL in its negotiations on HGH testing, according to Birch.
