Dolphins' Taylor returns vs. Patriots after hurting right shoulder

MIAMI -- Linebacker Jason Taylor returned to the Miami Dolphins' game against New England despite a right shoulder injury Sunday, and he said the training staff didn't try to keep him on the bench.

"They know better," he said.

Taylor was hurt on a pass play that went for a 58-yard completion for the Patriots in the second quarter. He was treated briefly on the bench and then left the field.

He was back in the game in the third quarter despite the injury.

"It hurts," he said. "It's a tough game."

Taylor finished with two tackles, and the Dolphins won 22-21.
