Dolphins LB Koa Misi pleads not guilty to three felony charges

Miami Dolphins linebacker Koa Misi pleaded not guilty on Friday in Santa Barbara, Calif. court to three felonies related to an April 2011 altercation, according to the Santa Barbara Independent.

Misi, 25, is charged with battery with serious injury, residential burglary and dissuading a witness.

The second-year Dolphin is accused of damaging the door of an apartment and punching a man in the face in the town of Isla Vista, Calif., near Santa Barbara.

Misi was also arraigned and posted $10,000 bond on Friday and will appear in court for a preliminary hearing within the next two months.

Neither Misi nor his attorney spoke to media after the hearing, the paper said.
