Dolphins deactivate leading tackler Crowder against Chiefs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Linebacker Channing Crowder, the Miami Dolphins' leading tackler, was inactive for Sunday's frigid game against Kansas City.

Crowder, who recorded 105 tackles in the first 14 games of the Dolphins' turnaround season, has a sore left knee.

With temperatures at kickoff expected in single digits, the Chiefs had several key players inactive, including cornerback Maurice Leggett, wide receiver Jeff Webb and tackle Alfonso Boone.

Also inactive for the Dolphins were wide receiver Chris Hannon, linebacker Quentin Moses and tackle Nate Garner.
