Dean Blandino uses Week 6 hits to show how hits become fines

Last weekend, NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino explained to NFL Media's Andrea Kremer the league's review process for questionable hits and how fines are determined.

In the second part of the series reported by NFL Media's Andrea Kremer, "Behind Closed Doors: How a Hit Becomes a Fine" looked at a post-touchdown scuffle between the Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers. Also sent to vice president of football operations Merton Hanks was a hit by Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

The final part of the series is Friday on "NFL Total Access" at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network.
