Dallas Cowboys sign CB Byron Jones

The Dallas Cowboys signed No. 27 overall pick Byron Jones, the team announced on Thursday.

The former UConn cornerback is the final Cowboys 2015 draft pick to sign with the team.

Jones, one of the most freakishly athletic prospects in the 2015 draft class, dazzled scouts at the NFL Scouting Combine with a record-setting broad jump of 12 feet, three inches and a vertical leap of 44.5 inches.

The promising young rookie is believed to make an immediate impact in the Cowboys' secondary this season. Jones has the size and ability to downplay the further use of Morris Claiborne.
