Cowboys WR/KR Ogletree out for season with toe injury

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys placed wide receiver/kick returner Kevin Ogletree on season-ending injured reserve with a toe injury.

The Cowboys made the move Wednesday, three days after Ogletree was injured during a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Ogletree had been expected to see more playing time because of the season-ending injury to rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant.

Ogletree had three catches for 34 yards and six kick returns for 109 yards this season.

The Cowboys replaced Ogletree on the roster with wide receiver Manuel Johnson, a seventh-round draft pick out of Oklahoma in 2009. Johnson spent his rookie season and 2010 on the Cowboys' practice squad.
