Cowboys' Choice knocked out of finale with concussion

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Cowboys running back Tashard Choice has been knocked out of the regular-season finale because of a concussion.

The team said at halftime Sunday that Choice would not return to the game against Philadelphia.

Choice didn't play again after taking a hit to the head in the first quarter. Choice was on the field for several plays before that, but didn't have any carries.

Based on stricter NFL guidelines instituted late this season, a concussion likely would keep Choice out of the Cowboys' opening playoff game.
