Cowboys' Brooking likely OK for training camp after knee surgery

Offseason knee surgery could prevent Dallas Cowboys linebacker Keith Brooking from participating in organized team activities next week or a minicamp scheduled for June 11-13, the Dallas Morning Newsreported Wednesday.

Brooking, who's currently rehabilitating from arthroscopic knee surgery on his left knee, is expected to be ready for training camp, according to the Morning News.

Brooking, 34, had 106 tackles and three sacks in his first season with the Cowboys in 2009. He spent his first 11 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, with whom he was selected to five consecutive Pro Bowls (2001-2005).
