Colts RB Addai active vs. Saints despite hamstring injury

Indianapolis Colts leading rusher Joseph Addai was in uniform for Sunday night's game at New Orleans despite not practicing for most of the week.

However, the Colts scratched starting guard Ryan Diem, who has been slowed by ankle soreness, along with offensive tackle Anthony Costanzo (ankle), rookie defensive tackle Drake Nevis (back) and wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez (groin).

The Saints deactivated defensive end Turk McBride because of a shoulder injury. McBride doesn't start, but he has regularly rotated in throughout the season.

Also inactive for New Orleans were defensive end David Thomas (concussion) and right tackle Zach Strief (right knee), both starters who have been sidelined since being hurt against Houston in Week 3, as well as linebacker Will Herring (hamstring).

Saints tight end Jimmy Graham was active despite missing practice time during the week with an ankle injury. He had been listed as probable.
