Colts place Sanders on PUP list

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Indianapolis Colts have placed former Pro Bowl safety Bob Sanders on the physically unable to perform list.

Sanders had offseason shoulder surgery and wasn't expected to be ready for the team's first practice today.
