Colts DE Hughes arrested in Dallas nightclub skirmish

Indianapolis Colts defensive end Jerry Hughes and former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Stephen Hodge were among three people arrested for public intoxication early Sunday morning at a Dallas club, WFAA-TV reported.

Hughes, Hodge and TCU senior defensive tackle Cory Grant were taken to City Detention Center. Hughes and Hodge also attended TCU.

According to WFAA, officers noticed a disturbance outside The Bank nightclub around 2:30 a.m., which reportedly began inside the club.

Sunday is Hodge's 24th birthday. Drafted in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL Draft, Hodge was placed on injured reserve in October and subsequently released after undergoing microfracture surgery on his right knee. He missed all of the previous season following a similar surgery on his left knee.

Hughes, drafted by the Colts in the first round of the NFL draft in 2010, had six tackles on special teams and as a reserve in 12 games.
