Colts add another piece to defense with Harris

The Indianapolis Colts have reportedly added another rather large piece to their defense: former Chicago Bears defensive tackle Tommie Harris.

The *Chicago Sun-Times* cited a league source in reporting Tuesday that the Colts and Harris agreed to terms on a one-year deal. The team confirmed the signing Thursday.

Harris, the 14th overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma, was a three-time Pro Bowl selection for the Bears, but has had just four sacks in his last two injury-prone seasons.

Harris visited the New England Patriots recently, but opted to stay in the Midwest and sign with Indianapolis. The Colts have also recently signed linebacker Ernie Sims and defensive end Jamaal Anderson.
